FLAG PAPER SENSOR is in there and when paper is pulled downwards too sharply it can become dislodged. The paper flag is not easily accessible and could be a nightmare to get back into position. One possibility is to turn the printer off and try to pull and poke the flag back into place. Usually only a portion of the flag breaks off but if the flag cannot intersect the sensor it does not transmit to the dc controller when paper has entered and left the fuser.
